The Lifehouse Church Internship Program

Our internship program is designed to identify, equip, and release ministry leaders of the future.

Do you feel a calling on your heart to enter full-time ministry? Are you currently attending college and want some insight into what it is like to experience working at a church? Are you ready to take your commitment to serving the Church to the next level? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, The Lifehouse Church Internship program may be your next step!

 

As an intern at The Lifehouse Church, you will experience how ministry happens at a healthy church. This experience, combined with the relationships developed with experienced ministry leaders, will prepare you for your future in ministry.

What does an internship at The Lifehouse Church look like?

Personal Development 

We want to invest in you. A significant part of this internship is helping you develop spiritual maturity, self-awareness, and life skills.  

 

Team Development

We will focus on working in a team environment and learning how a strong team is the most effective way to accomplish ministry. You will have opportunities to grow your leadership skills under the guidance of a mentor.

 

Leadership Development

We will provide the opportunity for you to lead a team, program, or event within the area of your internship. You will be responsible for sharing the vision, equipping others, and leading people.

Other activities: All interns will be included in staff-wide team meetings, cross-ministry break-out sessions with key leaders, and internship-wide meetings designed for fellowship and team-building.

 

What are the expectations of an intern?

The Lifehouse Church internships are paid positions that work 15-25 hours a week for at least ONE year with opportunities for two to three years extensions based upon an annual evaluation. 

  

Requirements: Interns with a high school diploma should be at least 18 years old and available to serve during all weekend services. Interns are expected to maintain a Christ-like lifestyle at all times. Failure to do so can result in immediate removal from the Internship Program.

  • Lifehouse Kids: Nursery, Toddler, Preschool, Elementary, Outreach Events 
  • Creative Media: Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Photography, Layout, Social Media
  • Missions: Local and Global missions
  • Lifehouse Students:  Middle School, High School, Young Adults 
  • Worship Arts:  Service Programming, Weekend Production, Video Production, and Music Ministry
