Serve
Jesus came to serve others and give his life.
That’s what we do too!
At TLC, we believe we are never more like Jesus than when we’re giving and serving. Simply said, if you’re not serving, you’re swerving…it’s more joyous to give than to receive. Our hope is that we will all serve inside and outside the walls of the church.
Volunteer
There are many opportunities to serve at TLC on Sundays and throughout the week (welcome team, kids ministry, office volunteer, security team, groundskeeping team, etc). We want to help you find the one that best suits your SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts, Heartbeat for ministry, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences). If you would like to sign up for a ministry or meet with a staff member to discern what might be the best fit for you, fill out a volunteer interest form linked below!

Outreach
We are created and called to serve and share Jesus. We reach out personally, locally, nationally and internationally. We invite you to help TLC make an impact for Jesus.
Personal evangelismÂ
We reach others for Jesus by building a relational bridge with them. Whether the person is in our family, at work, across the street neighbors, or a classmate, there are four steps to building this bridge intentionally.
First is to SEEK. Reach out to God in prayer and seek to reach out to the person (call, email, talk to them).
Second is to SERVE. Find a way to lead with kindness and love (hold the door open, smile, help them in practical ways).
Third is to SOCIALIZE. Spend time listening, loving, and laughing together (invite them over, talk on the phone, go places).
Fourth is to SHARE. As the Lord leads the conversations, look for an opportunity to share what Jesus is doing in your life and how much He loves the person (invite to church, ask to pray for them, celebrate a change Jesus is bringing in your life). By building a loving relational bridge, we can be light to others in darkness and seek and save the lost. Â
Global missionsÂ
Along with supporting missionaries around the world, we send several short-term mission teams each year to help partner with them and extend their reach for Christ.
Local partnershipsÂ
We don’t do ministry alone. We partner with others to make the most impact. Here’s some of our ministry partnerships and ways that you join to make the most impact for Jesus in our community. Click below if you’d like to learn more or serve at one of these ministry partnerships.

William & Priscilla Conceiçao
Restoration Ministries, Brazil
As a church planter, William has a passion to bring hope through this ministry to desperate children, adults and families in the favelas (slums) of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Restoration Ministries seeks to impact the world for Jesus Christ as a gospel-based ministry to underprivileged children and their communities.

Don and Janie serve on the UIM International Administrative team as mentors for the Mexico and Hispanic Field Directors. They oversee the following strategic projects: three Ana’s Kitchens located in Guadalajara, Oaxaca and Reynosa, the House of Refuge in Leon, the Alpha & Omega Bible Camp in Oaxaca Sierra, and the newly begun Royal House of Mephi in Oaxaca. S.K. Mag

After a life-changing conversion 20 years ago, S.K. Mag experienced God’s healing, becoming a believer alongside his transformed family. Compelled to share the Good News in a region where many never hear it, he dedicated his life to church-planting. Today, he leads a team of 65 church planters actively spreading the Gospel among South Asian people.
